Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic

Simon is a Chartered Physiotherapist and a member of the Health Professions Council (HPC). Simon set up the Rochester Physiotherapy and Sports Injury clinic in 1989 and has been practising as a private physiotherapist in the Medway Towns ever since.

Simon joined the Army to train as a Physio and qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from the Joint Service School of Physiotherapy in 1980,the qualification granted was a Graduate Diploma in Physiotherapy and entitled Simon to be a Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP). On qualification Simon served a further 9 years in the Army, both at home and abroad, working in the armed forces rehabilitation centres and military hospitals.

During his time in the Army Simon gained valuable experience in all aspects of physiotherapy,but developed a specific interest in musculo-skeletal and sports injuries. On retirement from the Army in 1989 Simon set up the Rochester Physiotherapy & Sports Injury clinic and was eventually based within the newly built St. Mary's Medical centre in 1991, and has remained there ever since.

The practice is housed within the local GP practice building, close to the towns of Strood, Chatham and Rochester. The practice has its own large car park, and there is easy access the A2, local trains and bus services.

Simon is an experienced physiotherapist, specialising in back and neck pain, whiplash, all sports injuries, joint pain and arthritic conditions.

Clinic hours: 9am-7pm Monday and Thursday. 9am-1pm Saturday, and at other times by appointment. Home visits can be arranged.
